Compose 2X Pelleted Nutrient Supplement for Horses

Compose® 2x is a concentrated calming supplement developed to provide an equally effective product as original Compose® at a reduced feeding expense to the horse owner. Compose® 2x contains nutrient “nerve regulators” including tryptophan, thiamine, and magnesium that are provided at twice the concentration compared to original Compose®.

Tryptophan, one of the essential amino acids, is a building block of a chemical in the body responsible for the transmission of nerve signals through the brain. The plant proteins of grains and hay in equine diets are low in tryptophan content. Thiamine is important in energy metabolism and helps control hyperactivity. Magnesium is important in maintaining nerve transmission and muscle function. For maximum short term effect, feed 2 scoops (3 oz.) per 1000 lbs. body weight on an empty stomach. For long term maintenance, feed 1 scoop (1.5 oz.) per 1000 lbs. as a top dressing twice per day. Pellets.
